Home refurbishment
We stayed in the house while the work was going on, which I was dreading a bit. The team kept things tidy and made sure we could still use the kitchen in the evenings. There were a couple of decisions we hadn’t thought through, and Aras talked us through them without making it a big deal.
The house feels like ours again. Just much better.
Kitchen renovation
Our kitchen was awkward — plenty of space, somehow nowhere to put anything. What I appreciated was being able to ask a silly question and get a straight answer. We changed our minds about the tiles halfway through and worked out a sensible way forward.
We spend most of our time in here now.
Painting & decorating
I’m quite fussy about paintwork, especially around the old doors and skirting boards. They spent more time on the preparation than I expected, and you can see why. Even with the afternoon sun across the walls, the finish looks lovely.
A small job compared with a full renovation, but it never felt treated that way.
Bathroom refurbishment
It’s a small bathroom, so every bit of space mattered. Aras suggested moving a couple of things around before we ordered anything. I’m glad we listened. The shower is comfortable, there’s proper storage, and it’s much easier to clean.
Nothing flashy. Just a room that works properly.
Living space renovation
With an older house, you expect a few surprises once things are opened up. We had one with a wall, but it was explained to us clearly, with the options and the extra cost agreed before they went any further. That mattered to me.
Good communication, and a finish we’re very happy with.
Interior finishing
We had a list of those little jobs you keep putting off — damaged plaster, tired woodwork, a room that never felt finished. It’s surprising what a difference getting them done properly makes. They also came back to sort a small bit we spotted afterwards.
I finally stopped looking at the things that needed doing.
